Facilitation Offerings
Mia offers personalized circles, rituals and workshops for you, your family and your community.
Each offering focuses on how community can engage with one another to heal, learn and grow together.

Community Circles are based on the indigenous practice of talking circles. Participants sit in a circle around a center piece. We begin with a grounding meditation on a certain theme and then open the circle for sharing. Participants are encouraged to practice using their authentic voices, learn from one another's stories and build closer connections in the community.

Community Rituals
Rituals are a sacred set of activities based on honoring a certain theme. This could include art making, use of the elements such as fire and water, use of aromatherapy and sacred objects and guided meditation. The ritual is personalized to certain individuals in the community to hold sacred space during certain times in their lives.

Workshops have a specific learning component or a goal for the community to reach. Workshops include a speaking component in which participants will learn more about a specific topic, activities meant to have participants embody and fully understand the concepts for themselves and group discussion.
Community Workshops
Times for community support
Whether it is ritual, circle or workshop, there are certain times in our lives in which that extra community support can be exactly what we need to heal.
Whether it is the loss of someone dear to you, a recent diagnosis, becoming a parent for the first (or third) time or making a commitment to a partnership, having the space to pause and ritualize these vital moments in life can offer the grounding we need when going through life's biggest transitions.
